Optometric findings considered abnormal.

Criteria for ocular abnormalities
A distance visual acuity (with optimal correction) in either eye worse than 6/6
A near visual acuity (with optimal correction) in either eye worse than N5
Stereoacuity worse than 60″
An average amplitude of accommodation that did not meet the Duane–Hoffstetter formula for probable amplitude of accommodation (minimum amplitude of accommodation must be more than 15–0.25age)
A near point of convergence more distal than 10 cm
Any slip evident on fixation disparity at near
Any report of blurring or diplopia on motility assessment
