Evolution of macaque RV2 rhadinoviruses. The proposed evolutionary relationship of the pig-tailed macaque MneRV2 and rhesus macaque RRV17577 and RRV26-95 is shown in relationship to a tentative evolutionary time scale (mya, millions of years ago) based on the proposed divergence of rhesus and pig-tailed macaques and the divergence of different rhesus macaque subspecies (64).
