Figure 1

The chemical structure of Sch B (A), and the cytotoxic effects of Sch B on mouse AML-12 (B) and RAW 264.7 cells (C).

Notes: Cells were treated with Sch B at concentrations of 1, 5, 25, 50, 100, 150, and 200 μM for 24, 48, and 72 hours, and the effect of Sch B on the viability of AML-12 and RAW 264.7 cells was determined by the MTT assay.

Abbreviations: hr, hour; Sch B, schisandrin B; MTT, 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-Yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide.
