MSU induced IL-1 β mRNA expression in FLS. FLS were stimulated with 1 ug/ml, 10 ug/ml, 50 ug/ml, 100 ug/ml, 250 ug/ml and 500 ug/ml of MSU at short-term time point 6 h and long-term time point 48 h respectively. Cells were collected for IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-6 mRNA detection by Q-PCR. The concentration of MSU 50 ug/ml induced the significant increase of IL-1β mRNA expression in the cells collected after 6 hours MSU exposure (A, p<0.05). There was no significant difference for the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α mRNA expression in the cells of FLS exposed to different concentration MSU whether at the 6 h time point or the 48 h time point.
