According to the Neuropathic Pain Screening Questionnaire, the VAS score for low back pain significantly improved 4 weeks after pregabalin administration, irrespective of neuropathic pain. According to the pain DETECT Questionnaire, the VAS score in patients with neuropathic pain was significantly higher than in those without neuropathic pain and this difference was seen 4 weeks after pregabalin administration. In both questionnaires, the percentage of improvement in VAS scores was significantly higher in patients with neuropathic pain than in those without.
