Synthesis and characterization of GO and RES-rGO by UV-vis spectroscopy.

Notes: Spectra of GO exhibited a maximum absorption peak at approximately 231 nm, which corresponds to a π–π* transition of aromatic C–C bonds. The absorption peak for reduced GO was red shifted to 260 nm. At least three independent experiments were performed for each sample, and reproducible results were obtained. The data present the results of a representative experiment.
