Exogenous PAFAH suppresses IgG2 production. PBL were cultured for 7 days with 9 μl of PWM in the presence or absence of active or inactive PAFAH. Cell-free supernatants were collected and IgG2 antibody levels were quantified as described in Materials and Methods. The data are presented as percentages of control IgG2 production, where the control is PBL cultured with PWM in the absence of exogenous PAFAH. The data shown are compiled from four to six independent experiments with PBL from different individuals. Error bars indicate 95% confidence intervals.
