Binding affinity of the KYL phageon different cell lines. (a) Binding of the KYL phage on different cell lines was assayed by cell phage ELISA. The KYL phages (3×109 pfu per well) were used for this experiment. Results are represented as the mean±SD (n=3). (b) Competition of the synthetic KYL peptide with the binding of the KYL phage on LNCaP cells. Fifty thousand LNCaP cells per well were cultured and fixed with cold methanol-acetone (1:1). The cells were incubated with the synthetic KYL peptide or a scrambled peptide for 30 min, followed by washing and incubating with the KYL phages for 1 h. The bound phages were recovered and titered.
