(a) Shows a photograph of a automobile structure with the nib of a pencil shown alongside for scale (the length of the structure is 2 cm. The layers are 100µm and there are 3200 overlapping exposures in total. The print copes well with the severely overhanging chassis (no support material was used). (b) Shows a model of mountain bike printed with 100µm layers. The printer is capable of the fine detailed spokes on the wheels which are 200µm in diameter.
