(B) Time course of an IV-drip regimen. The antibiotic was delivered for a fixed duration until the bacteria density dropped below a pre-defined threshold (10^-10). (C) Predictive power of recovery time for the outcome of long-term periodic antibiotic dosing. For each antibiotic concentration-period combination, we calculate the final population density after applying 100 antibiotic doses.
