MNV infection does not alter the frequency of Ly6C^hi monocytes. Spleens of Ldlr^−/− mice were processed at the end of the study to determine whether MNV influences composition of immune cell subtypes by staining for antigen-specific antibodies for linage markers (Lin: NK1.1, CD90, CD45R, Ly6G), CD11b, CD11c, F4/80, MHC class II, and Ly6C.
