(A,B) Delayed breast reconstruction is commonly performed with a two-stage technique. The expander is chosen based on the final implant dimensions and the patient’s chest wall width. (C,D) It is important when using shaped devices (in this case MemoryShape) to use an expander that is the same or smaller dimensions than the planned device.
