Transcriptome and epigenome profiling can also be performed on peripheral blood and cerebrospinal fluid in addition to other biomarker studies. Skin fibroblasts can be reprogrammed or trans-differentiated into neurons for comprehensive analysis of the dysfunctional network in patients.
