The future of cancer research In the era of big data, one of the major challenges is to make full use of multi-dimensional data from heterogeneous sources, including different omics data and a variety of medical data from bedside. The success in the battle against cancer will largely depend on population-sized information from both genomic and clinical resources, advanced algorithms for data mining, open and sharing circumstances.
