Displacement of zyxin and Lpd from EnaH- and VASP-EVH1. Pull-down experiments with lysates from MDA MB 231 cells and GST-tagged EnaH-EVH1 (Upper) and VASP-EVH1 (Lower) immobilized on glutathione Sepharose beads (Upper Frame: Lpd and zyxin in Western blot analysis; Lower Frame: loading control). With GST alone, no zyxin/Lpd was pulled. GST-EVH1 pulled zyxin/Lpd. Zyxin/Lpd displacement from GST-EVH1 domains was performed by adding different concentrations of compounds 2 or 4a to the lysate.
