Bio-active 4-arm PEG hydrogels containing CSP and CSP-RGD allows for simultaneous cell attachment and enzymatic degradation. Combining 4-arm PEG acrylate with cysteine containing peptides at pH 8.0 allows for stiochiometic equivalence of the acrylate and thiol functional groups, and the incorporation of the collagenase sensitive peptide and the RGD peptide in the backbone of the hydrogel network.
