BMP7 redistributes HA and CD44 in myofibroblasts. Fibroblasts were grown to 70% confluence before undergoing growth arrest in serum-free medium for 48 h. Cells were then incubated under the various cytokine treatments according to the experimental models described under “Experimental Procedures.” Cells were subsequently fixed and stained for HABP (green) and CD44 (red).
