Permanganate footprinting was done on indicated cell lines that were grown in the same media and probed at steady state conditions without stimulation. (B) mRNA levels analyzed in the same cell lines as in (A). All values derive from three independent experiments. Data are normalized as Ct difference against GAPDH. For each gene, the mean value for MCF-7 cells is set to 1 and all data points are normalized to this mean value.
