Nuclear pore mutants differentially affect intron-containing reporter expression. β-gal activities (mean ± SD; n = 4) were measured in the indicated strains transformed with intronless, ‘leakage’ (A), and ‘splicing’ (B) reporters. β-gal activities relative to the ones obtained with the intronless reporter are represented.
