Seed doses of target species and competitor under different levels of total plant and competitor density. *The number of seeds was increased in species where we expected poor germination (Perglová et al. 2009) to achieve comparable numbers of emerged seedlings. In I. noli-tangere the number of seeds was enhanced from two to four and from six to eight, and in I. parviflora from two to three and from six to seven.
