Diarrhea was induced by giving castor oil (2 mL/rat, p.o.).The incidence of diarrhea was checked every hour for 4 h after the castoroil administration. MLEO and Loperamide were given orally 60 min beforethe castor oil treatment. Values are expressed as Mean±S.E.M and the percentage of animal with diarrhea.
