Contribution of fertility determinants to total fertility for women aged 15–34,1 Mexico 2000 1Contributions of fertility within marriage and the differences in the sex ratio and level of migration to total fertility were computed by multiplying the predicted proportion of women in a union in the random-effects model by the level of marital fertility. Changes in the mean level of education exhibited a small negative effect on total fertility (−0.02), and, therefore, are not presented.
