Bray-Curtis similarity of untransformed polychaete family abundance data. Samples are labelled by station number (M1-M6) with lower-case letters representing individual corer drops. Abundance data for corer drops are standardised to ind. m⁻² to correct for small differences in the number of individual cores per drop. Samples are colour-coded according to the geochemical evidence for presence of tailings in cored sediments from each station.
