Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) profiles that can be used to characterize and track Cronobacter species in a PIF processing facility. Lane 1–10, sample 1–10, and Lane M, Salmonella Braenderup H9812, molecular marker, genomic DNA digested with XbaI. The arrow-heads at the foot of the image, including lane 1 through 3, lane 6 through 8, lane 9 and 10, show that these isolates have the same PFGE profile and would be considered indistinguishable.
