Total heme oxygenase (HMOX) activity in primary rat hepatocytes. Primary hepatocytes were incubated with: (A) taurocholic acid (TCA), (B) unconjugated bilirubin (UCB) for 24 hrs or with (C) 10 μM ethinylestradiol (EE) for 24, 48 and 72 hrs.
