After 15 h, E. faecium bacteria grown in the presence of AMPs (red) were inoculated into GM17 medium with no AMPs and grown for 10 generations (Gen 10). The green curve shows the growth of the resulting E. faecium grown in the absence of AMPs, and the purple curve shows the growth of this same E. faecium grown in the presence of AMPs.
