NFSI, N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide.

Reaction condition: 1 (0.5 mmol), NFSI (1.5 equiv., 0.75 mmol), CH₃OH (3 equiv., 1.5 mmol), Cu(OTf)₂ (10 mol %) and TFA (1.0 equiv., 0.5 mmol) in CH₃CN (2 ml) at 70 °C under N₂ atmosphere for 5 h. Isolated yield.

*Mixture of two isomers. The ratio was determined by ¹H NMR analysis.
