Epinephrine-increased glycogenolysis and glycolysis is coupled to a Na + /K + -ATPase pump. Epinephrine increases cyclic AMP (cAMP) production, inducing stimulation of glycogenolysis/glycolysis and activation of the Na+/K+-ATPase pump.
