TRP channels contribute to Ca²⁺ influx induced by H₂O₂

In endothelium of Young mice, inclusion of 5 μm RuR to inhibit TRP channels reduced influx of Ca²⁺ during exposure to 200 μm H₂O₂ by ∼75%. This effect was reversed within 5 min of washout of H₂O₂ with PSS. Summary data are means ± SEM; n = 9 for 2 mm [Ca²⁺]_o during H₂O₂ and n = 5 for 5 μm RuR during H₂O₂. *P < 0.05, Old versus Young.
