1 Black Ser and Thr residues were identified as referenced.

2 CST, Cell Signaling Technology. PhosphoSitePlus (PSP) is an online systems biology resource providing comprehensive information and tools for the study of protein post-translational modifications including phosphorylation, ubiquitination, acetylation, and methylation.

3 Blue (Ser) and brown (Thr) residues were identified in this study; the reference is provided if identified in abother study. Documentation for all previously unidentified sites as well as di- and triphosphopeptides is shown in the supplemental data. Phosphosites found only in copper-treated cells are highlighted in yellow.

4 Phosphorylation site identification in mouse tissues was performed by Gygi and co-workers (16).
