Electrophysiological characterization of exon 33L containing Ca_v1.2_33L channel. A, Ca_v1.2_33L channels were co-expressed with β_2a and α_2δ subunits in HEK cells. No Ca²⁺ or Ba²⁺ current was recorded when the cells were depolarized to 0 mV from a holding potential of −90 mV (n = 18). B, Ca_v1.2_33L channels were transfected into HEK cells at 5% or 10% to the reference channels. Tail current densities were measured in 5 mm Ba²⁺-containing bath solutions. No statistical difference was identified.
