Fig 1 — Expression of ALDH1B1 (brown stain) is confined to stem cell region of the normal colon (left panel) from wild-type mice (Apc(+/+)). In contrast, a colon polyp from ApcMin mice showed universal expression in the epithelial cells, with some staining in the stromal cells (right panel).
