The Osatg7-1 mutant shows reduced size in the vegetative stage. The mutant was grown hydroponically for 77 d after germination with the following control plants: parental cv Nipponbare, a wild-type line identified from the segregating mutant population (OsATG7+/+), and a complementation line (Osatg7-1-OsATG7).
