Two examples of the web interface used for the spindle identification task. (A) Experts identified spindles by drawing boxes around them, and then indicated their confidence in the scores as ‘Definitely’, ‘Probably’ or ‘Guessing’. (B) Alternatively, if no spindles were found in the epoch, the expert could indicate ‘There are no spindles in the image’.
