Glucose and oxygen consumption in the seven NPP mutants and the wild-type strain. Conidia were inoculated in minimal medium supplemented with CA for 24 hr, before mycelia were transferred to minimal medium plus glucose for 24 hr. (A) Glucose concentrations of the supernatant were measured and calculated using the difference between the glucose concentration at time point 0 hr (100% glucose) and after 24 hr. (B) The rate of oxygen consumption [ng atoms O/min/dry weight (mg)]. Presented are the percentages of glucose and oxygen consumption in the NPP mutants.
