Two questions regarding use of over-the-counter (OTC) analgesics were included in Questionnaire 2 in population-based health surveys in the the Nord-Trøndelag Health Study (HUNT3). a) Question on type of OTC medicines and b) Question on frequency of use for headache pain and pain in muscle/joints.
