Human primary myoblast VDR mRNA fold change. After being treated for 18 h with three concentrations of 1,25(OH)2D3 (1 pmol/L, 10 pmol/L, and 1 nmol/L), fold change of VDR mRNA was significantly increased between control and 1 nmol/L (1.36 ± 0.33) in human primary myoblasts established from three healthy young adults (P = 0.05).
