The presence of the sMD-2 (90, 62, and 30 kDa forms) in the explant media was significantly increased after 6 h of LPS (100 ng/mL) stimulation (A). A sustained response was seen after 18h and 24h of treatment. MON (10 µg/mL) had a similar stimulatory effect (B), while CHX (20µM/mL) decreased the amount of sMD-2 in the explant media (C).
