Real time RT-PCR was performed on mRNA samples isolated from the PBMCs of 27 patients (19 men, 8 women; median age 66 years) with IgG4-RD. Case 1* and 2* are the same patients in Table 1. Patients with steroid treatment are Case1 to Case 20, and IgG4 (post Tx) means the value of serum IgG4 after steroid treatment.
