CRS-MIS mutants of C. albicans strain 34.80 exhibit loss of TSC13/tsc13 heterozygosity. DNA sequence chromatograms showing TSC13/tsc13 heterozygosity in the 34.80 parent, loss of heterozygosity in representative CRS-MIS mutant 34.80-C2, and heterozygosity again in the 34.80-C2 revertant (confirmed as originating from the transforming DNA by the synonymous T-to-C mutation incorporated into primer CaTSC13c81F).
