Chronic EtOH feeding reduces IL-17A production by dermal γδ T cells. Dermal cell suspensions prepared from mice fed EtOH for 12 to 16 weeks or age-matched water controls were cultured 4 hours − stimulation with plate-bound anti-CD3. IL-17A producing γδ T cells present in cultures prepared from EtOH-fed or control mice were identified according to gating strategy shown in the contour plot (from a representative H2O mouse).
