Effect of DEHP exposure on estrous cyclicity. Adult CD-1 mice were orally dosed with vehicle (tocopherol-stripped corn oil) or DEHP (20 μg/kg/day–750 mg/kg/day) daily for 10 (A) and 30 (B) days. Vaginal swabs were taken daily using PBS administered from a pipette tip. Stage of estrus was recorded based on previously defined criteria using a light microscope. Percentage of days in estrus and metestrus/diestrus was calculated and compared in each treatment group. Graph represents means ± SEM (n = 8 mice/treatment group).
