Fig 4 — Relative transcript levels of 10 S5a and S5b bHLH genes at different fiber developmental stages in upland cotton were detected by qRT-PCR. DPA, day(s) post anthesis. Total RNAs were extracted from ovules with fiber initials at anthesis (0 DPA) or fibers of different developmental stages (5~20 DPA). Data were analyzed and presented as in Fig 3.
