Solid-phase gastric emptying. There was a 26% of delay in gastric emptying induced by a 2-wk high-fat diet (HFD), compared with a diet of regular chow (control, CT) (n = 9, **P < 0.01). This delay was prevented by the concurrent administration of cholestyramine (CHO) (n = 9, *P < 0.05), but not by the administration of devazepide (HFD-CCK-A receptor antagonist) (n = 6–9, P = 0.32).
