DNA damage accumulation in the new MACs of ΔTCD1 cells. Immunofluorescence analysis of conjugating cells from mating WT and ΔTCD1 cells that were stained with anti-γ-H2A.X and DAPI. γ-H2A.X staining occurred at the crescent, early new MACs, and late new MACs of ΔTCD1 cells, However, no signals were detected in the late new MACs of WT cells.
