Phase II 5-Day Time Course

The human embryonic stem cell line H1 was differentiated to definitive endoderm using either the small-molecule (blue) or growth-factor (red) protocol. Definitive endoderm was treated with 1% DMSO to differentiate to hepatic progenitors, and cells were collected every 24 hr for 5 days to assess the gene expression of developmentally relevant hepatic markers. Data are presented as the mean of three independent experiments; error bars represent SD. The x axis represents the time (in days) after definitive endoderm.
