[A] Calcein labeling was performed on sham or OVX operated WT and EP1−/− mice. Tibia were examined by fluorescence microscopy and mineral apposition rates (MAR) and bone formation rates (BFR) were quantified. [B] Femur and tibia were harvested for TRAP staining. Osteoclast numbers/bone surface (Oc.N/BS) and resorption surface (Oc.S/BS) were quantified. Statistical analysis was performed using 2-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s test, N = 5 mice per group were examined. (*) = p < 0.05 v.s. WT sham, ($) = p < 0.05 v.s. KO sham, (#) = p < 0.05 v.s. WT OVX.
