aSummary of sodium channel properties of EGFP-positive DRG neurons from Scn10a-EGFP mice. TTX-R INa were recorded in the presence of 3 μm TTX, and TTX-S INa were derived from subtracting the TTX-R component of INa from total INa, recorded before application of TTX. All voltage protocols and equations used to calculate V1/2 and k values are detailed in Materials and Methods. Complete activation curves were constructed from recordings of 28 EGFP-positive DRG neurons, and the inactivation protocol was successfully applied to 23 EGFP-positive DRG neurons. Data are mean ± SEM.
