The genomic DNA fragment containing the open reading frame for HvTIP3;1 was PCR amplified and translationally fused to the N-terminal region of the GFP protein. (B) Subcellular localization of HvTIP3;1 in an aleurone cell. Barley aleurone protoplasts were transfected with HvTIP3;1–GFP and the subcellular localization of GFP was examined by fluorescence microscopy after 18h of incubation.
