(A) Scramble or NOD2 siRNA-transfected MDM monolayers were incubated with M.tb (MOI 5:1) for 24 h, and the monolayers were incubated with M.tb (MOI 5:1) for 2 h, washed 3 times, and repleted with 1% autologous serum for 24 h. Cells were lysed with TN-1 buffer, and iNOS or β-actin protein levels were examined by Western blot. Shown is a representative Western blot of 3 independent experiments.
